John Juech, Chief Operations Officer

John Juech assumed a leadership role for the city in bringing government, community organizations, school administrations, and team ownership together in acquiring a mutually acceptable site, agreeing on a building design, and arranging public and private financing. Chaired multiple, sometimes contentious, meetings over the three-year development period keeping the project moving despite numerous disagreements among the involved parties on location, architecture, and funding.

The stewardship effort resulted in eventual groundbreaking on a new $250-million stadium complex ranked by league management as one of the organization’s finest. The stadium recently hosted both the US Women’s National Team and an upcoming World Cup qualifying match for the men’s team.
