With a limited reach due to a single-industry offering, Derrick and his partner embarked on a quest for diversification opportunities. 

Serendipitously, they crossed paths with a regional insurance brokerage in need of a website, aligning perfectly with their expansion goals. This encounter led to the repurposing of their website platform, birthing a newly diversified revenue stream.

However, Easy Agent PRO’s journey toward diversification wasn’t devoid of hurdles. Their platform’s original rigidity, industry-specific content, and SEO ranking challenges needed addressing. Initial attempts to cater to both real estate and insurance customers led to a decline in SEO ranking, prompting a need for website revamps. With resolve and a renewed focus on their strengths, Derrick and his team reprogrammed their platform, outsourced a new website creation, and fine-tuned their marketing message. 

Their dedication paid off, especially during the pandemic. While the real estate industry faced lockdowns, the insurance industry sought effective ways to connect with customers. Easy Agent PRO’s diversified insurance platform thrived, accounting for 33% of their customer volume. This strategic shift protected their business and created a new revenue stream. 

The journey instilled a sense of pride and accomplishment within the Easy Agent PRO team. Their experience emphasizes the importance of adaptability, focusing on strengths, and finding the right balance between leveraging existing assets, outsourcing, and altering messaging approaches when faced with obstacles. It’s a testament to their resilience and openness to change, demonstrating that diversification can bring success even in challenging times.
